In life we meet several people from different class,we Start by saying Hi and Hello and gradually a bond of friendship is built. It takes a lot of courage to begin to see a stranger as a friend.
In the course of friendship you begin to discover several things about each other.you both have your weaknesses and strength, the ability for you to strengthen each others weakness and soar with each others strength goes a long way in building a lasting bond.In the journey of friendship, there are times you agree and times you disagree, the ability to agree on a thing and prevent disagreement from lingering is a way of saying you value the bond. The ability to know the poor/average background of your friend and yet still give them due respect is called value .If you can't accept each others flaws it's impossible to build a lasting bond.
Friendship is the base/foundation of relationship, marriage, partnership and what have you. The courage of lasting friendship is for you to be true to yourself and to others.you can't have a lasting bond based on lies.Truth is very key.sacrifice and selflessness are also very important to build a lasting bond.you have to be a team to be able to overcome challenges together that comes and not back out on each other, remember two heads are better than one. There is a difference between having "friends" and having "a friend".we have friends because even the Bible encourages us to be at peace with all men as much as we can, but "A friend" is trusted and can be entrusted, dependable, shares in your dreams, visions, goals and takes them as his/her own and does everything in there power to see things go well for you.Now that is being true.
Be open minded and courageous, let your actions reflect sincere and most admirable character qualities.Be that person someone prays to build a lasting friendship with.Be an unconditional friend. "Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your father which is in heaven"(Matthew 5:16).
