In Psalm 51:10 the psalmist prayer to God was ; Create in me a clean heart o God and renew a right spirit within me.This should be the prayer of every Child of God because when you have a clean heart your spirit will be in better communion with the father.God is interested in those that long for him from a clean heart.
A clean heart is a heart that is yielded completely to God .A heart that is free of all fear of man but trembles at the presence of God.when a heart is clean it is considered healthy because it is free of grudge and hate and everything that burdens the heart.A clean heart enables you have a better fellowship with God and to maintain a clean heart you must constantly feed on God's word and yield to his command. To maintain a clean heart you also have to rebuke every thoughts that pollutes the heart.stop accommodating sinfull thoughts,and that's why psalmist said let the words of my heart and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in thy sight o Lord .Out of the abundance of your heart the mouth speaketh ,it is what your heart conceive that your mouth speaks and sometimes your actions follow too.The meditation of your heart has alot to do with your relationship and communication with God.The meditation of your heart can bring you closer to God or distance you from the presence God.Take a quick check on what your constant thoughts are and check the direction in which your life is going because the mediation of your heart can influence your actions.what you attract has alot to do with your heart.A clean heart that yearns for God doesn't lay treasures on earthly things but in eternity. It is important has a child of God to release your heart to God,guide your heart with all diligence ,let God be the center of your thoughts.Let your heart take thoughts on things that edify. Rebuke the thoughts of evil and speak the blood of Jesus over your heart daily.God is interested in what goes on in your heart .psalm 37:31 ; makes us to understand that a heart that is filled with God's word shall not go on in the wrong direction. Out of your heart proceeds the issues of life ,when your heat is right with God you are preserved in the right path.The heart is the central place of your words and action,so whatever is in your heart prompts the direction of your actions.Proverbs 3:1 says my son(male/female) do not forget my teaching but let your heart keep my commandments. It simply means there is an important need for a constant feeding and lindwelling of the word of God for you to have a pure heart. Luke 6:45 says The good person out of the good treasure of his heart produces good, and the evil person out of his evil treasure produces evil, for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.The heart is the power house of your thoughts and action. As much as the heart physically keeps man alive,it also determines your spiritual life growth and connection with God.A right standing starts with God starts with clean heart,a pure way or action starts with a clean heart .A man whose is heart yielded to God and guided by His word will never miss it.Open your heart to God!
