If the motive for that day is not right then now you expect your day to be because it can only go in the line of your motive. How do you motivate others when your motive lacks the vitality of right attitude and grace. Queen Esther went into the palace with a motive and the right one at that and she was able to help her people. Jesus came down to earth to with sacrificial and unconditional love as a motive to save the world.

Daniel had a right motive he proposed in His heart that he will not defile Himself with the portion of the kings meat or with the drink that he drank and that was how he made a godly influence and impact.
