BIBLE FOCUS- 1 Thessalonians 1:4- 6KJV
Knowing, brethren beloved, your election of a God. [5] For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake. [6] And ye became followers of us, and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Ghost:
PRAYER: FATHER HELP TO SPEAK THE TRUTH AT ALL TIMES WITHOUT FEAR. HELP ME NOT SPEAK AS IN THE ENTICING WORDS OF MEN.FATHER DELIVER ME FROM PRIDE AND LYING WORDS OF MEN. I WILL NOT SETTLE FOR LESS THAN THE TRUTH. I WILL DO GOOD AND SPEAK THE TRUTH.i BIND THE SPIRIT OF FEAR, I RECEIVE BOLDNESS AND THE GRACE FOR SOUND SPEECH IN JESUS NAME, AMEN!
WORD- You can't please God and men at the same time. Truth is not always palatable and that is why God gave us the boldness so we can speak the truth without doubt. Infact you can't say you love your neighbors without speaking the truth to them. So the Lord is that truth that needs no spicing, adding or subtracting. But must be preached as it is, because the word is Jesus. Whenever you stand to speak to the children of God you must let Grace flow from your lips by giving yourself to the Holy Ghost in total surrender. Not trying to feign words or make it sound sweet but as it comes from the throne of Grace and mercy.
TODAY'S TIP- WHENEVER YOU HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO, STAND FOR THE TRUTH, BECAUSE THE TRUTH YOU REFUSE TO SPEAK NOW CAN STAND AGAINST YOU TOMMOROW!
