PRAYER- FATHER I RECEIVE GRACE FOR HUMILITY. FATHER HELP ME THROUGH THIS RACE , I WILL NOT MISS HEAVEN. GIVE ME A HEART OF LOVE AND FORGIVENESS. FATHER HELP ME TO DRAW CLOSER TO YOU. FATHER I DON’T WANT TO MISS IT IN MY JOURNEY OF LIFE. FATHER I SURRENDER MY LIFE TO YOU IN TOTALITY HELP ME TO FOLLOW AND OBEY YOU WHOLEHEARTEDLY IN JESUS NAME, AMEN!
WORD- Humility draws you closer to God, you can not be bigger than the one who created you. There is no total surrender without humility first. God said come boldly , without fear , meaning don’t distance yourself from God. Coming boldly doesn’t mean pride, pride is a sin and God hates it. A prideful heart , can not learn , can not submit, will always look down on everyone . God resist the proud and gives grace to the humble. Humility doesn’t take away from who you are . Rather it brings you closer to God. A person who hungers to carry God’s presence can not be proud .Sin is often as a result of lack of accountability and lack of accountability is pride . Any sinful character is as a result of pride. Unforgiveness stems from a place of pride, like how can I humble myself to forgive this person, that’s pride.
