PRAYER - FATHER TAKE AWAY EVERY IDOL IN MY HEART. I LAY DOWN MY CROWN TO WORSHIP YOU. FATHER LET MY LIFE BRING YOU GLORY. LET MY HEART WORSHIP YOU. I SURRENDER MY HEART, MY BODY AND SOUL TO GOD. I WILL NOT SERVE ANY OTHER GOD. I LAY DOWN ALL IDOLS KNOWN AND UNKNOWN. I REFUSE TO SERVE THE IDOLS OF MY FATHERS HOUSE. GOD IS IN MY HEART , THEREFORE NO IDOL CAN STAY IN JESUS NAME, AMEN !
WORD: Idols are not just physical but things we let take over our hearts . Idols are anything that you think you can’t do without and have taken the time and place of God in your life. When talking about idol, it is more spiritual than any physical. Idols are tools the devil used to creep in and he brings them with the most familiar things. Your request can become an idol if you let it take over your heart. “The text today said every man puteth up an idol in his heart” because the heart is where the issues of life comes from. Where is God in your heart? What has more space in your heart than God? Search your heart and take away the idols in it . Whatever you begin to serve has become an idol, giving it any attention above God , cut it off!
