NUGGET: A NEED FOR A REFOCUS

BIBLE FOCUS- AMOS 4:7-9: And also I have withholden the rain from you, when there were yet three months to the harvest: and I caused it to rain upon one city, and caused it not to rain upon another city: one piece was rained upon, and the piece whereupon it rained not withered. So two or three cities wandered unto one city, to drink water; but they were not satisfied: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the Lord. I have smitten you with blasting and mildew: when your gardens and your vineyards and your fig trees and your olive trees increased, the palmerworm devoured them: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.

PRAYER : FATHER THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU HAVE DONE FOR ME. FATHER HELP ME TO RECOGNIZE YOUR HAND. LORD I ACKNOWLEDGE AND RECOGNIZE I NEED YOU DAILY. I RUN INTO YOUR EMBRACE AND THRONE OF MERCY. FATHER PULL ME OUT OF ANYTHING DRAWING ME BACK. FATHER RESTORE TO ME BY MERCY ANYTHING YOU HAVE HELD BACK FROM ME DUE TO DISOBEDIENCE. FATHER LET MERCY SPEAK OVER JUDGEMENT IN MY LIFE. WORD- There are things God allows to happen in our lives so that we can depend on him. At those times when you feel a need for dependence don't run anywhere else  but to God. Trust God and totally depend on him. See what chapter 5:3-4 says- God made them unsatisfied, so he can bring a need for fellowship but still they were far from him. God is saying to someone there is a need for fellowship, I have caused an imbalance so that you can see a need to trust me. God pushed you out of that comfort zone for a shift and renewed fellowship. Whatever it is you are in is not to break you but to bring you closer to the father. The question is who is your focus. God is saying your focus needs to come back to me, FOR HE GOD IS THE ALPHA AND OMEGA. Before you question about that situation check if your stand is still with God. See if that's God's way of getting your focus straight. If you realize that, then it's time run to the mercy seat. God will disturb your comfort zone till you realize a need for a shift. God wants to see a stirring not reluctance. Don't be too busy as to shifting your focus from the father.

WORD - God detest anything that is against the truth. That is why he puts his spirit in us, and said i have not given you the spirit of fear but of boldness, love and sound mind. So that we are able to speak the truth in love. You can't love someone and not speak the truth to them or hate to hear the truth. The evidence of a heart that is in Christ is the ability to love and stand for the truth. God said that he requires that we worship him in spirit and truth. God loves truth and stands by those who loves the truth. The word is true, and when you truly love God you will love his word. Don't detest reading God's word because it speaks to your weakness or ungodly lifestyle. Don't try to change the word of God to suit yourself. Recieve every truth with joy it has a way of equipping you spirit. Each time you come before God he wants to hear the truth in your heart not because he doesn't already know, but God wants to hear you affirm the truth you claim to stand for, because with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Those who are of God must love what God loves and that is the truth.

WORD- The voice of the Lord is ultimate. No Matter the voice lifted against you ,the voice of the Lord is mightier and speaking,  listen. When you think that mountain is mighty, look at God, his power none can contend. That's why whoever stands with God, most importantly who God stands with, stands strong. When the noise is over God will speak to you with a still small voice and his voice overrules all verdict. God's voice is speaking to you today, do not not bow to the frustrating pressure of the voice of this world. Let not you heart be worried. You shall end strong. You are in the refiners fire you shall not be burnt. Today the Lord is saying the floods can't swallow you cos 'I Am' is controls all and the storms and they obey his voice. WORD- It is wisdom to pay attention to instruction. To go far in life it is imperative that you listen, understand and apply where neccesary, the word received. In every phase of our lives  we need God's word as instructional guidelines for us. God has also placed strategic people in different phases of our life to direct us with words of wisdom as guidelines towards purpose. God's word to us comes in divers form, you must pay attention to it so you don't full victim of the devils vices. The word is a light to our path, putting God first helps you recieve the light as wisdom guide. The unleashing and manifestations of the word of God in us is embedded in total obedience. God's word is the wisdom you need to thrive in a dark world. A wise child is that which hears what the father speak- by staying in God's presence you hear the word he has for you and don't throw away the wisdom received.The mother in the text is not just the physical mother now, but those people God has placed ahead of you, either as leaders, mentors, role models. There is alot to learn from their own fount too. Wisdom is life's guideline. You need wisdom ,not that of this world but of God to live a purposeful life. Seek to learn by submission. To hear God's word you submit, listen and obey. The wisdom that makes a man go far is not in leaning on self understanding but on God.

WORD- The Lord is attentive to his children, nothing happens without him being aware. It may look like God is silent because his ways are not ours but be sure that you are secured in him. Even the enemy might feel like they are prevailing but the truth is God has already conquered the battle that is raging. The recompense of the enemy is with the Lord, and God will never leave them unpunished. Stop stressing over battles that are not yours to fight. Contentions and oppositions are for God to contend with. For all the tears you have cried for the wickedness done against you the Lord shall arise. The Lord is watching over you, nothing can happen you, it is just the devil backing but can't harm you. God will take the glory over that battle, don't panic. WORD- To enjoy life abundantly you must be in God. Life outside God tends to nothing and vain. It is only in God that you have eternal things, even joy and peace eternal. In him all fullness dwells. It is when you are in him he aligns every other thing in your favour. How have you allowed the devil cheat you by presenting you with so many enticing nothing and tempoarory pleasure things that inflicts sorrow. Only in God you have things without sorrow. God has destinied you for greatness but devil has decieved you to settling just for anything. You are not a lonely city but a joy of many generation. WORD- When you know who is with you, you are not scared of what is standing against you. God is the defender of the defenseless and he will never give you over to the will of your enemies. And that's why he promised that when the enemy come in one way he will lift up a standard against them and they shall flee in seven ways. You are under God's watch don't let your heart fear. Submit your self to God and that automatically makes you mightier than the enemy. Maybe the reason why you are so afraid is because you don't know where you stand with God, else you will be still. God is saying, see as I will cause the enemy to be taken by his own trap. If you say the battle is big, means you don't know how mighty your God is. The more you know God the less you see the problem . Whatever is confronting you channel it to God, he is bigger and way mightier.

WORD- The lowest hell is a place of pain, suffering, struggle and fail. And that is not where God desires us to be. That is why he is commited to see that we live life that he desires for us. God is able to deliver you from the lowest hell. Your low points is the beginning of God's high points in you. Don't stay low, press to reach for all that God has for you. Strength is coming on you to pull you up and through. The mercies of the Lord brings deliverance and there is no more hell. Where your voice can not reach even in the lowest hell, his mercies will reach you, wait on him. You shall pull through it won't be long. That person saying I have been in hell, the good news is, God is able to deliver you.

WORD- God wants to speak to you pay attention. Listen to what he is saying to you. Don't be carried away with whatever you are doing or what you are facing,  that you shut the ears of the spirit to the voice of God. Right where you are God is giving you instructions, on what to do, Where to go, who to connect with . That environment where you are the Potter is molding you in it and teaching you through it, pay attention. God sent Jeremiah to the prophet using the work of his hands to illustrate things to him. Means that even in that very busy schedule let God in, he is interested to work in and through you, the wisdom he gives will make all you do easy and profitable. God is sending you to places and people, he is saying pay attention as I bid you go. The situation could be rainy, stormy, calm but pay attention to what God wants to do through it. God is intentional about what he tells you, where he bids you go. The more you pay attention as he speaks the more you are in tune with his lead.

WORD- Just like king Hezekiah most people have invited problems into their lives by letting the wrong people into their personal space. Don't be quick to trust your matters to others, don't be quick to tell out your secret without first trusting your life in Gods hand so he connect to with the right people. When God opens your eyes you will realise that some people are dinning with their enemies. You need God to open your spiritual eyes. Never forget that the devil is not happy that you are at rest. So even at the place of rest watch and pray. Discern before you conform. Because gift was put  forward doesn't qualify that such person is of God or has your best interest at heart, and that was what the Babylonians did to king Hezekiah. One wrong person can destroy the destiny of a nation. Intentions are not same as smiling face. Know who you let in. Discern to recognise intentions and actions beyond looks and sympathy. Be mindful of who you let in. The only person that should have access into every area of your life is God, learn to speak to him first and more, because there are alot of Babylonians waiting to prey you.

When God opens your eyes you will realise that some people are dinning with their enemies. You need God to open your spiritual eyes. Never forget that the devil is not happy that you are at rest. So even at the place of rest watch and pray. Discern before you conform. Because gift was put  forward doesn't qualify that such person is of God or has your best interest at heart, and that was what the Babylonians did to king Hezekiah. One wrong person can destroy the destiny of a nation. Intentions are not same as smiling face. Know who you let in. Discern to recognise intentions and actions beyond looks and sympathy.
