BIBLE FOCUS- Proverbs 4:10-15 KJVHear, O my son, and receive my sayings; and the years of thy life shall be many. [11] I have taught thee in the way of wisdom; I have led thee in right paths. [12] When thou goest, thy steps shall not be straitened; and when thou runnest, thou shalt not stumble. [13] Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: keep her; for she is thy life. [14] Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men. [15] Avoid it, pass not by it, turn from it, and pass away.
PRAYER- FATHER I CHOOSE LIFE, I CHOOSE WISDOM, LORD I CHOOSE YOU. LORD ONES HAVE YOU SPOKEN TWICE HAVE I HEARD IT. FATHER USE ME FOR YOUR GLORY. LORD I CHOOSE YOUR WILL AND YOUR WAY. LORD I WILL KEEP FOLLOWING YOUR WILL AND YOUR WAY. I WILL NOT FAIL GOD. LORD I LIVE FOR YOU EVERYDAY IN JESUS NAME, AMEN!
WORD- Don’t turn from God’s way. The Bible says thy word is a Lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path. The word here is God, God said He is the word. So in plain terms, if you let God lead you , obey him and listen to His instruction you won’t be lost . Wisdom is knowing what is right from evil , which gives you an ability to stay on track . The key to a successful life is obedience to God , and to follow in the way of God reflects wisdom. Our text is talking about a father advising is son about walking on the right path. This is the same way God wants us to walk in the right path by obeying his word. Just like the father in this text , God’s desire is that we do not perish but we all come to repentance. Jesus is seated at the right hand of the father daily interceding on our behalf. God is asking you today come home. No matter how far gone you are come home, choose life , choose wisdom. The Bible says you will hear a voice behind you saying this is the way walk in it, what voice are you hearing , voice of deception or voice of wisdom? come home !
TODAY’S WORD-WISDOM IS CHOOSING THE WAY OF GOD. ONLY A FOOL WILL SAY THERE IS NO GOD.
