NUGGET: DEVALUED BY THE OLD
LUKE 5:36-37;And he spake also a parable unto them; No man putteth a piece of a new garment upon an old; if otherwise, then both the new maketh a rent, and the piece that was taken out of the new agreeth not with the old. And no man putteth new wine into old bottles; else the new wine will burst the bottles, and be spilled, and the bottles shall perish.
Someone once said that people are scared to start over and that's why they just keep sticking to the old, they feel the norm/usual is easier. You have to understand that the addition of the old and new is a devaluing state. If you must refill or be transformed into the new there must be a total discard of the old. The new according to God's purpose is meant to surpass the old. You have to ask God for the courage and grace to give up the old. You've been too attached to old things that even when God is showing you the new you keep attaching yourself to what use to be. How do you grow, heal, move forward or even do better when you keep attaching yourself to the old. Cut off from whatever that keeps devaluing your worth. You have the privilege of enjoying the new because your heavenly is the source and spring. Daily let your container become readily new to be renewed, refreshed and refilled by God.
I pray for you that what caused a waste in your yesterday is detached from your life. You launch into the new for a different experience. Every evil covenant that keeps dragging you behind is broken by the blood of Jesus. The Lord opens your eyes to see the greatness you carry. People shall begin to see the good in you. Your content shall not waste off. You manifest in grace and glory in Jesus name, amen!
