NUGGET: YOU CAN'T PLAY PROPHECY
1KINGS 22:8,13-14;  And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, There is yet one man, Micaiah the son of Imlah, by whom we may enquire of the Lord: but I hate him; for he doth not prophesy good concerning me, but evil. And Jehoshaphat said, Let not the king say so. And the messenger that was gone to call Micaiah spake unto him, saying, Behold now, the words of the prophets declare good unto the king with one mouth: let thy word, I pray thee, be like the word of one of them, and speak that which is good. And Micaiah said, As the Lord liveth, what the Lord saith unto me, that will I speak.

The king wasn't angry at prophecy but he was angry at the truth that came with the word.And you could see the servant trying to convince the Prophet to speak enticing words. But can you lie against the truth, you can't lie against the holyspirit. The truth of God's word will always prevail. Most times people are eager to hear it all good than hearing the truth. This sugar coated words have made many fall into traps. God's word and utterances from the throne of grace are deep truth. It doesn't have to sound good or suit you. Be open to the truth than sugar coated words. Don't run from people whom God has placed in your life to shape you in the path of truth because you want to please the flesh. You must trust God's word because it stands.
O Lord help my heart to accept the truth.Help me abide by the truth consistently. Shift my focus from the enticing words of men. Lord upbraid my mind and renew my spirit. Let my attention be captured by godly things. Father my drive shall be heaven at last in Jesus name,amen !

TODAY'S TIP: Buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding.(Proverbs 23:23)

NUGGET: SEE THROUGH HIS EYES
PSALM 36:9;  For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.

The best way to go through life without being trapped by the wrong is seeing through the eyes of God. When the fountain of life becomes a light through which you see life and go on about your daily activities then the best is assured. Don't be pressed to take the short cut when God is just a prayer away. What are you without God's light to pattern you in the path of truth. You can't walk in slippery places when God's light is your light. When God is your light you don't struggle to see things the right way rather things rightly come to you falling in pleasant places. Are you making it about you or about God ? Your identity is revealed through the light of Christ. When you shine Christ he pushes your feet to places you never thought you will be. Do I hear someone yearning for the supernatural light today.
O Lord help me to see through your light. I want to shine your light please manifest yourself in me. I proclaim you as the source of my life and everything I do. Help me not to be blinded by my own desires. Lord let me see that which you want me to. Every favourable path I have been blinded to eyes are opened to see them through your light. Father let your light magnify my sight to see things better in Jesus name,amen!

GET THE FACTS RIGHT

Never let assumptions be your conclusion to judge or get into your worst element. Lack of facts will make you display wrong attitude ignorantly. Getting the facts right can save you alot of troubles and issues that are uncalled for.There are troubles you can avoid in your family and relationship with others if you seek the truth.
Don't take steps or action that will lead to regrets because you feel reluctant to dig further into getting the facts. Don't let pride hinder you from asking questions and getting to the base of a matter. Flee every discuss that is baseless.
Seeking truth and pursuing it dignifies you as a person. The right facts should be the bases of your words and action, even at that be not hasty in your decision always think things through. Because if you don't digest the fact in your mind with a thorough thinking, you could still make wrong hasty decisions.
Let those around you know you for something worthy. Follow that which is right. Let the truth be your foundation for living. Get the facts right!
