But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. [9] Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; [10] And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
PRAYER : FATHER GIVE ME GRACE NOT TO CLING TO WHAT'S NOT RIGHT IN THY SIGHT. I PULL OUT FROM WHATEVER IS SEPARATING ME FROM THE WORLD SHADOW OF YOUR WINGS. I EMBRACE THE LIFE THAT IS IN CHRIST JESUS. I AM THE REFLECTION OF THE IMAGE OF CHRIST. I DO NOT STRIVE FOR SELF GLORY, FOR ALL GLORY BELONGS TO GOD. I AM RENEWED IN THE KNOWLEDGE OF CHRIST AND TRANSFORMED IN MY INNER MAN IN JESUS NAME, AMEN!
WORD- To loose the world is to gain Christ. The old man says you must do the world to belong, the new man says one with God is a majority. What shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loose his soul. Just like Paul there is a continuous war between the flesh and the spirit, but you must continually give yourself to the things of the spirit to overcome this battle. You must completely put off the old man,to put on the new man. Pleasing God is the guarantee of eternal life. There is renewing each h time we draw closer to God in the spirit. God is not pleased by the flesh but in the spirit. Means the works of the flesh is for temporary gain. We must thrive in the things of the spirit to be alive unto God.
