BIBLE FOCUS - 2 Kings 6:21-23 KJV-And the king of Israel said unto Elisha, when he saw them, My father, shall I smite h them? shall I smite them? And he answered, Thou shalt not smite them : wouldest thou smite those whom thou hast taken captive with thy sword and with thy bow? set bread and water before them, that they may eat and drink, and go to their master. And he prepared great provision for them: and when they had eaten and drunk, he sent them away, and they went to their master. So the bands of Syria came no more into the land of Israel.
PRAYER-FATHER DELIVER ME FROM THE BATTLES IF LIFE. FATHER MAY I NOT BE OVERWHELMED BY MY BATTLES. FATHER HELP ME TO WIN THROUGH IT ALL. FATHER TEACH ME PATIENCE. HELP ME TO KNOW WHEN TO BE STILL AND WHEN TO TAKE STEPS.GIVE ME WISDOM IN ALL SEASONS OF LIVE. TAKE ME OUT OF THE VALLEY OF FRUSTRATION. I TRUST LORD THAT YOU WILL FIGHT FOR ME AND I WILL HOLD MY PEACE. HELP ME TO TAKE REST IN YOI KNOWING THAT YOU IN FULL CONTROL IN JESUS NAME, AMEN!
WORD: Not all battles are worth fighting, there are battles that God fight for you, there are battles he fights through you and others with you. God had already fought the battle for Elisha and his men but the servant still didn't recognise that this was not a battle to fight with or through them, it was a battle God fought for them. God blinded their eyes and that was how Elisha won over them. When God is fighting for you it is beyond your swords and arrow, it is beyond the tactics of men. That is why the Bible says be still and know that he is God, when you take it to God you know the right step to take and what to do.
