BIBLE FOCUS- 2 Samuel 6:14-16 KJV-And David danced before the LORD with all his might; and David was girded with a linen ephod. So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the Lord with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet. And as the ark of the LORD came into the city of David, Michal Saul's daughter looked through a window, and saw king David leaping and dancing before the LORD; and she despised him in her heart.
PRAYER - FATHER MAY I NOT BECOME AN HINDERANCE TO MY OWN BLESSINGS. FATHER HELP ME TO BE AN ENCOURAGER. FATHER GIVE ME GRACE NOT TO BE MOVED BY ANY FORM OF SITUATION. FATHER HELP ME TO OVERCOME THE NAY SAYERS AND THE THEM SAYS. FATHER STRENGTHEN ME WITH AN UNWAVERING ZEAL FOR GOD. FATHER I CHOOSE TO BECOME A FOOL FOR YOU. FATHER WEAR ME THE GARMENT OF PRAISE AND VICTORY IN JESUS NAME, AMEN.
WORD -Don't mock a mystery you don't understand especially about a person whose life is yielded to God. David danced unto God and his wife called it foolish. Don't worry about the things you do for the sake of Christ that people see as foolish, just like David become so unconscious about the world and focus on God, so much that nothing distracts you and nothing moves you. Let your attention be on Jesus. Let God get the glory and not man. Follow God so much that people tag you abnormal . It is for a greater good. God is interested in those who aren't concerned about what people are saying but are focused on serving God and doing his will. David didn't care about the environment but was focused on God and Micah who didn't understand the mystery choose to mock him but was laid with a curse. Do what God desires and leave the mockers to God. When you serve God whole heartedly he fights your see and unseen battles. Overcome the noise by staying focused us on the voice.
TODAY'S TIP: SOME PEOPLE LIKE DAVID'S WIFE HAVE CARRIED SELF INFLICTED CURSES FOR MOCKING A MYSTERY THEY DONT UNDERSTAND. DON'T PUT YOUR MOUTH TO A LIFE GOD IS WORKING ON!
