NUGGET- BEWARE OF IDOL WORSHIP
BIBLE FOCUS- Numbers 25:2-3 KJVAnd they called the people unto the sacrifices of their gods: and the people did eat, and bowed down to their gods. [3] And Israel joined himself unto Baal-peor: and the anger of the Lord was kindled against Israel.
PRAYER- FATHER DELIVER ME FROM THE SPIRIT OF IDOL WORSHIP THAT MIGHT WANT TO INFILTRATE MY LIFE THROUGH THE MUNDANE THINGS OF THIS WORLD. I RECEIVE GRACE TO WORSHIP GOD AND GIVE MYSELF WHOLE HEARTEDLY TO THE THINGS OF GOD. I RECEIVE GRACE TO LIVE A LIFE OF WORSHIP AND TOTAL SUBMISSION TO GOD. I WILL NOT BOW TO ANY OTHER THING BESIDES GOD IN JESUS NAME, AMEN !
WORD- God hates idol worship. Anything , loved admired and cherished above God is idol worship. God said there is none like Him or none besides Him. God is glory and residence in glory, He is the God who take the glory in everything, He doesn’t share His glory. Anything that takes His glory is idolatry. Do not bow to any other thing/god besides God. God requires that we constantly give our life to worship, anything that takes the worship place of God in your heart is idol worship and it will attract the wrath of God. Beware of idol worship!
TODAY’S WORD- ANYTHING YOU REGARD ABOVE GOD AND YOUR HEART BOWS TO RATHER THAN GOD , HAS BECOME AN IDOL, DESIST !
