BIBLE FOCUS: Numbers 25:6-13 KJV
[6] And, behold, one of the children of Israel came and brought unto his brethren a Midianitish woman in the sight of Moses, and in the sight of all the congregation of the children of Israel, who were weeping before the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. [7] And when Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, saw it, he rose up from among the congregation, and took a javelin in his hand; [8] And he went after the man of Israel into the tent, and thrust both of them through, the man of Israel, and the woman through her belly. So the plague was stayed from the children of Israel. [9] And those that died in the plague were twenty and four thousand. [10] And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, [11] Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, hath turned my wrath away from the children of Israel, while he was zealous for my sake among them, that I consumed not the children of Israel in my jealousy.
PRAYER- FATHER I RECEIVE GRACE TO PLEASE YOU WITH ALL MY HEART. I RECEIVE GRACE TO SHUN THE WORLD. I WILL DO AS GOD PLEASE. I AM A SOLUTION TO MY GENERATION. I WILL BE A LIGHT WHEREVER I GO. I RECEIVE COURAGE TO CHALLENGE EVERY WRONG. I SAY YES TO THE WILL OF GOD. MY HEART DESPERATELY LONGS FOR THE FATHER AND IN ALL I DO I WILL FOLLOW JESUS, IN JESUS NAME,AMEN!
WORD- A zealous soul for God are those that adamantly go against what God hates . Look at what Phinehas did ,he saw what was wrong and stopped it immediately. Are you zealous for God? Do you behave as Phinehas of your time, are you sugarcoating sin instead of correcting it. Hate what God hates ,the love for God is not just by your words but in your actions. Don’t only say God is in my heart and still let bad things flow into your heart. Be a warrior, be zealous, take Gods matter seriously start dealing with the root cause not just the surface,don’t pamper what offends God,it can attract Gods wrath . Be intentional about your walk with God.
