BIBLE FOCUS- Ruth 1:15-16 KJV
[15] And she said, Behold, thy sister in law is gone back unto her people, and unto her gods: return thou after thy sister in law. [16] And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God:
PRAYER-LORD I RECEIVE GRACE TO STAY. GIVE ME THE EYES THAT SEE’S BEYOND THE NOW. HELP ME LORD TO PUSH THROUGH MY WEAK TIMES TRUSTING IN YOU. FATHER HELP ME TO PURSUE AFTER YOUR DESIRE FOR ME . HOLY SPIRIT KEEP ME STRONG. DO NOT LET ME BE BLINDED BY MY WEAK TIMES. I CHOOSE YOUR WAY AND PLAN THROUGH ALL SEASONS. HELP ME LORD TO TRUST IN YOU IN JESUS NAME, AMEN
WORD-What Ruth had was staying power . It is not easy to come face to face with what seem to be an hopeless challenge and still remain steadfast. But we saw Ruth display that . The ability to say where God wants you, go where he leads you, listen to Him even when all don’t make sense is a staying and that is a high level display of faith. A staying power is faith in action . From the human point of view that situation was hopeless but Ruth saw beyond it and stayed . The Bible didn’t say if she heard Gods voice and all but I’m sure she must have been a persons go strong communion and relationship with the Father . She didn’t waver at the storm, she stayed through it and if you read further you will know that the favour Ruth hot was a reward from God
