NUGGET : THE LIGHT OF UNDERSTANDING
EPHESIANS 1:18-19:The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power.
There is no understanding without first knowing. How do you understand the plan without first knowing the master planner. The ability to see through the dark is to have light shine through. But the light we are talking about here isn't just the physical light but divine illumination. Until God enlightens you there are things that will remain strange/mystery to you,there are territories that might look impossible to reach . A man operates based on the level of spiritual and physical understanding. The reasons why you can doubt with any little wave/storm is because there are things that your heart hasn't been enlightened to. When your understanding is illuminated you are able to know and differentiate the ways of God from man. For you to know the purpose there is a light that brings you that understanding and it is divine from God. You can choose to go for anything or what you thing it should be but when the light of God shines in your heart it brings you to knowing a better path he has prepared for you. God is light and has given us his word as a light of direction. The light of understanding is brought by the spirit means you have to be in tune with God to get this illumination. By this light you operate in the realm and capacity God desires you to, taking you from ordinary into supernatural.
Father let your light shine in my heart and help me know your will for me. Lord Jesus fill my heart with your light so that I do not walk blindly after vain ways. I decree that my heart is free from the clutches of dark thought. I pray Lord that your word take deep root in me in Jesus name Amen
