NUGGET: SPEAK THE TRUTH IN LOVE
EPHESIANS 4:14-15-That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
Correction is good but doing it without love becomes provocative and could be taken in the wrong way.How would you love to put yourself in position of that person you are correcting and ask how will I love to be corrected. There is a difference between correction and condemnation. Christ is our perfect example follow his footstep on how he looked upon the sinners with heart of love and compassion. When people are going astray lead them to the light of love because correction that is not properly channeled can cause hate and disunity. Refuse to be blown away with the wind of doctrine. Focus on Christ's teaching and let love be your anchor of your dealings with people. Others have ideas but Christ brought perfection. So follow truly what Christ has laid before you. Don't alter the truth by the wind of doctrine rather speak it in love.
Father give me a heart of compassion towards those around me. Father teach me how to speak the truth in love. Lord help me to boldly testify the truth. Father make me an agent of peace,unity and transformation in Jesus Name Amen!
