BIBLE FOCUS-2 Kings 20:12-16 KJV
[12] At that time Berodach-baladan, the son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters and a present unto Hezekiah: for he had heard that Hezekiah had been sick. [13] And Hezekiah hearkened unto them, and shewed them all the house of his precious things, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and the precious ointment, and all the house of his armour, and all that was found in his treasures: there was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion, that Hezekiah shewed them not. [14] Then came Isaiah the prophet unto king Hezekiah, and said unto him, What said these men? and from whence came they unto thee? And Hezekiah said, They are come from a far country, even from Babylon. [15] And he said, What have they seen in thine house? And Hezekiah answered, All the things that are in mine house have they seen: there is nothing among my treasures that I have not shewed them. [16] And Isaiah said unto Hezekiah, Hear the word of the Lord.
PRAYER- FATHER I ASK THAT YOU HELP ME PROTECT MY LIFE AS A TREASURE. I WILL NOT GIVE MYSELF TO THE TRAP OF THE DEVIL. I REFUSE TO EXPOSE MYSELF TO THE ATTACK OF THE DEVIL. FATHER PRESERVE ME. DELIVER ME FROM THOSE SENT TO STEAL GOOD THINGS AWAY FROM ME. I REJECT EVIL GIFT. GIVE ME WISDOM TO
MAKE THE RIGHT DECISIONS IN JESUS NAME , AMEN
WORD- Not all gift is a symbol or signification of love. Some gift are away to lure you into trap. Be sensitive to know that gift shouldn’t be a way into your heart. Hezekiah I’m sure assumed that visitors have become family just cos of the gifts they brought but he was wrong . Don’t let a simple gift take your treasure. Not everyone deserves to know everything about you . Your life is a treasure and should be treated as such . Don’t let gifts of men sell you for not . Gift doesn’t mean love. Know who you let into your treasure . You are precious and no gift is a price enough.
TODAY’S TIP- TREAT YOUR LIFE AS A HIDDEN TREASURE, NOT EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE ACCESS TO IT .
