BIBLE FOCUS- 1 Peter 4:1-4 KJV- Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God. For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries: Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you :
PRAYER- FATHER HELP ME TO BE MORE LIKE YOU. I RECEIVE GRACE TO FOLLOW GOD WHOLE HEARTEDLY. I LIVE BY THE SPIRIT SO THAT CHRIST IS MADE PERFECT IN ME. IT IS NO LONGER I THAT LIVES BUT CHRIST THAT LIVES IN ME . JEUS IS MY LIGHT AND IN THE LIFE OF CHRIST I SHINE THE LIGHT.I LOOSE EVERYTHING NOT OF GOD AND NOT IN HIM FOR HIS SAKE .I MANIFEST THE CHRISTLIKE LIFE . I NO LONGER WALK IN THE WILL OF THE WORLD BUT THE MANIFESTATION OF CHRIST JESUS ,AMEN!
WORD- When you no longer do what everyone is doing you will be bashed and suffer criticism because they will not understand the reason why you no longer flock with them or reason like them. When your flesh begin to suffer for Christ sake sin has lost its hold on you . In this phase you must stand strong.It’s ok to be different. Whatever you lost for Christ sake is a gain in heaven. He that love his life will loose it, but he that looseth his life has gained it. When it becomes all about Jesus then you know that your life has found it’s true purpose.
