BIBLE FOCUS- 1 Kings 13:11,16-18,20-21 KJVNow there dwelt an old prophet in Beth-el; and his sons came and told him all the works that the man of God had done that day in Beth-el: the words which he had spoken unto the king, them they told also to their father. And he said, I may not return with thee, nor go in with thee: neither will I eat bread nor drink water with thee in this place: For it was said to me by the word of the Lord, Thou shalt eat no bread nor drink water there, nor turn again to go by the way that thou camest. He said unto him, I am a prophet also as thou art ; and an angel spake unto me by the word of the Lord, saying, Bring him back with thee into thine house, that he may eat bread and drink water. But he lied unto him.And it came to pass, as they sat at the table, that the word of the Lord came unto the prophet that brought him back: And he cried unto the man of God that came from Judah, saying, Thus saith the Lord, Forasmuch as thou hast disobeyed the mouth of the Lord, and hast not kept the commandment which the Lord thy God commanded thee,
PRAYER- FATHER DELIVER ME FROM FAMILIAR ENEMY. FATHER I WILL HEAR YOUR WORD AND I WILL NOT NEGLECT YOUR VOICE. FATHER HELP MY WILL TO ALIGN WITH YOURS. I REBUKE EVERY FROM OF DISTRACTION. I WILL NOT BE FOUND WHERE GOD’S PRESENCE IS NOT WITH ME . FAHER TEACH ME TO DO THY WILL. FATHER HELP ME TK DIFFERENTIATE YOUR VOICE FROM EVERY NOISE. I WILL NOT SEAT ON THE WRONG TABLE. MY DESTINY WILL NOT BE TERMINATED UNTIMELY
WORD- Beware of familiar enemy. The young prophet listen to the old prophet because they had something in common, which is the prophetic. So he didn’t bother to ask/enquire from God further just because the old prophet gave him a go ahead .Belived know God for yourself. Hear him, don’t assume because someone told you. There are familiar enemies around you, so becareful of who you listen to . Familiar enemies are there to divert your destiny . When someone says God said be sure God actually spoke . Inquire from God
